Scholarship/Financial Assistance Programs

  1. HEC Need  Based Scholarship : An initiative of Higher Education Commission to facilitate the needy students who can’t afford education in order to enable them continuing their education without financial pressure.       
  2. BUSP ( Benazir Undergraduate Scholarship Project ) : The scholarship drive was initiated  in 2019 for those who really deserve the help in tuition fee and stipend. Up till now, three Phases has been completed.
  3. University Fee Concession for the Deserving and Orphans: A Special fee concession is awarded to the deserving and orphan students.
  4. Hafiz e Quran Fee Waiver: Fee waiver is given to every Hafiz-e- Quran upon qualification of test.
  5. Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Scholarship: Most deserving students are awarded this scholarship which is related by Ministry of Religious Affair (Pakistan) every year.
  6. PEEF (Punjab Educational Endowment Fund Scholarship): Tuition fee, Stipend and hostel accommodation is funded to the awardees throughout  the program of studies.       
  7. Minority Scholarship: The enrolled students belonging to minorities are offered this scholarship on need bases. 
  8. Student of SOS Village, Sargodha: 100 % exemption in tuition fee is offered to the students hailing from SOS Children’s Village till the completion of their studies.   
  9. Free Education of Children of Shaheeds: 100% exemption in tuition fees is given  to family and Children’s of Shaheed (martyr)   throughout their program of studies.
  10. BEEF (Baluchistan Education Endowment Fund): BEEF awards scholarship in terms of tuition fee and hostel accommodation charges to the students belonging to Baluchistan.   
  11. Fee Concession and Kinship Basis: Kinship fee concession is applicable to the younger sibling on the basis of fee paid by the elder one, (Only sibling one)x.
  12. HEC Employees Concession: 50% exemption in tuition fee is offered  to HEC employees or the students under their guardianship.
  13. MORA (Ministry Of Religious Affair and interfaith Harmony Scholarship): This scholarship is especially designed by the students belonging to minorities facing financial challenges.
  14. Chinese Ambassador Scholarship: Chines Embassy, Pakistan announces this scholarship from time to time to promote education.
  15. Federal Tax Ombudsman Scholarship for Baluchistan Students: The financially unprivileged ones belonging to the province of Baluchistan are awarded this scholarship , if and when announced.
  16. Sports Basis Fee Waiver ( Outstanding Players only): The university offers a full fee concession / waiver on sports basis.
  17. Disability Fee Waiver: Physically challenged students are catered on special ground in term of fee waiver.
  18. University Employee Scholarship: The children of UOS employees are offered 100% fee waiver upon getting admission in any program. 
  19. Scholarship for Baloch students: Students from provinces of Baluchistan are awarded fee waiver once they are admitted on quota / nomination basis.
  20. Fee Waiver / Scholarship for IDP’s: University offers free education to students belonging to IDP’s families throughout their program of studies.
