The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sargodha, is committed to advancing agricultural education, scientific research, and innovation to address the evolving challenges of agriculture and food production. Through its academic departments, the Faculty contributes to the development of skilled professionals and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices in Pakistan.

Our mission is to provide quality education, promote scientific inquiry, and prepare competent graduates who can contribute to agricultural development, food security, environmental sustainability, and national economic growth.
The Faculty offers undergraduate and postgraduate education across a range of agricultural and allied disciplines through its departments/ and Institute, including Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Entomology, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Soil and Environmental Sciences, Food Science and Technology, and Veterinary and Animal Sciences. The curricula are designed to develop theoretical knowledge, practical expertise, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in accordance with relevant academic standards and emerging sectoral needs.
The Faculty emphasizes practical learning through laboratory work, field experiments, research activities, seminars, and academic collaboration. Its academic and research facilities support students and faculty members in exploring contemporary issues related to crop production, soil health, plant protection, agricultural biotechnology, food processing, livestock, and natural resource management. Interdisciplinary learning and research encourage the development of innovative solutions to agricultural challenges.
