UoS art exhibition pays tribute to labourers

The Institute of Art and Design (IAD) at the University of Sargodha organized a moving exhibition to pay tribute to the hard work, dignity, and resilience of the working class.

The exhibition was curated and arranged by students of Graphic Design and Fine Arts under the supervision of lecturer Naveed Shareef.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar. Abbas inaugurated the event, accompanied by Director Sports Ahmed Khan Haral.

Featuring more than 100 photographs and 25 oil and watercolor paintings, the exhibition presented a compelling visual narrative of labour and perseverance. Each artwork highlighted the daily struggles of workers while celebrating their unwavering spirit and contribution to society.

Director IAD Ms. Maryam Saif, faculty members, and a large number of students and visitors attended the exhibition. The audience appreciated the studentsโ€™ creative efforts, noting that the display effectively used art as a powerful medium to acknowledge and honour the working class.
