The University of Sargodha organized a special seminar titled “Literacy Eliminates Backwardness” in connection with International Literacy Day.
The event was jointly hosted by the National Commission for Human Development (Sargodha District), the Institute of Education, UoS, the Prison Department (Sargodha Region), and the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, Sargodha.
Prof. Dr. Riffat-un-Nisa, Director Institute of Education, UoS, presided over the seminar, while Syed Ali Abid Naqvi (District Officer, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Sargodha), Kulsoom Munsha (CEO, District Education Authority Sargodha), and Mehr Umar Daraz Jhawari (Deputy Director, NCHD) graced the occasion as Guests of Honor.
