Today, the ORIC Steering Committee meeting was conducted at the MPH Committee Room. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan Chaired the meeting. Deans and the Director participated in the meeting. Representatives of all chambers of Commerce & Industries also participated to share their thoughts on fostering stronger ties between academia and industry. UoS representatives informed about the available facilities, including One Health Labs, Pak-China Study Centre, Centre of Excellence for Citrus, Rural Transformational Lab, Statistical Labs, and others. The discussions centered on potential collaborations, opportunities for joint research, and the future growth of entrepreneurial initiatives at UoS. Everyone emphasized the importance of creating an integrated ecosystem that bridges academic knowledge with practical industry needs.
