I am a lecturer of Criminology and Human Rights activist with 14+ years diverse experience of Policing. I earned my master’s from University of Sargodha in Criminology where I was awarded with gold medal and later on completed my M.Phil in Criminology and Criminal Justice System from Minhaj University, Lahore. Now I am working as lecturer in Criminology at University of Sargodha, Pakistan.
I have theoretical and practical knowledge of Human resource Management, Policing, peace building, Policy analysis and human rights. In course of my studies and practical life, I completed some specialized courses on Children’s human rights, international criminal law, Global diplomacy, public policy, Forensic science and media ethics and governance. While working in police department I worked for peace building in liaison with different local departments during Moharram and other special events in Pakistan. I worked for better and secure future while executing and heading campaigns on road safety and dengue awareness in Sargodha region. I have performed a leading role in inculcating the concept of community policing in Sargodha Region. I have worked as public relation officer of Punjab Highway Patrol which culminated into building positive image of police in public and helped in bridging the gap between people and police. I performed as vigilance officer to check and report the performance of police in Sargodha region. I am the pioneer in establishing a PHP Citizens’ Committee which was made for close liaison between police and community to eradicate the differences and issues being faced by the commuters on roads and general public in cities and towns and working as convener of the committee. I have been incharge of mobile education unit of Punjab Highway Patrol to sensitize students and general public regarding the burning issue of whole world i.e road safety. I have visited all educational institutes of Sargodha region for many times other than public places to make them secure. I have been member of athletics committee Punjab police, Member of purchase committee PHP Sargodha Region. I have been HR manager (OSI) and MTO of PHP as well. I have been coordinator students’ affairs, member of examination committee, focal person of Ehsas scholarships at department of Sociology and Criminology, university of Sargodha. I have worked as event coordinator for department and arranged interfaith harmony, road safety and anti-drugs seminars at university. I have effectively used campus radio – voice of varsity (FM 98.2) for awareness of the students and general public regarding dengue fever and drug abuse on internal dengue day and international day of drug abuse, respectively. I have been editor of police magazine “The Review” which covered the activities regarding community Policing and peace building in Sargodha region. Have been writing on policing and society and the rights of children in “Sargodha Post” magazine.
I have participated in some international projects/events. I have recently completed an interfaith photovoice project in collaboration with the Freedom of Religion or Belief Learning Platform and the NORFORB network (Norway) and the Al Amana Centre (Sultanate of Oman)entitled as “Seeing Freedom, Religion, and Belief in Pakistan”. I have attended the Faiths4Vaccines National Summit (USA), focused on promoting confidence for getting vaccinated in all faiths by using faiths. Attended (virtually) SEA- AIR final conference on FoRB Policy and practice organized by European Union and The Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers. I along with Sanjha Pakistan Organization, moderated a webinar on “Interfaith harmony – a step towards peace building” and reviewed the interfaith policy of Punjab, Pakistan that focuses on promoting peace and harmony in masses of Pakistan by inclusion of equality, respect, acceptance and equity in all spheres of life.

I achieved many professional trainings in my career. I completed one-year basic police officers training at police college Sihala, Islamabad where all laws related to police work including investigation, evidence, patrol, security, cyber-crimes and peace-building, were the part of training. I completed basic lifesaving course from Chung Police college Lahore. I successfully completed elementary mountaineering course organized by Alpine Club of Pakistan. I coordinated in first responder course for police officers. I qualified for UN SAAT to be deployed in peace keeping missions. I earned many rewards during his career. I earned 2 Commendation certificate 1, 5 Commendation certificate II and 132 Commendation certificate III along with cash prizes. I completed a project as a trainer for Nikkah Registrars in district Khushab started by Commission on the Status of Women for the rights of women. I worked in a project with TRSF NGO working on road safety. Along with extensive visits and work in Pakistan, I was selected as coordinator Makkah transport for pilgrims of Pakistan in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia consecutively for three years where I was awarded best performance certificates by the Director Hajj in Makkah and Madinah. During my stay in Saudi Arabia, I managed to resolve all sectarian and internal issues of pilgrims. I was selected by the Ministry of Hajj and Interfaith Harmony to coordinate in Hajj operation in KSA as Deputy sector Commander w.e.f 09-06-2022 to 31-07-2022, and Deputy Chief Transport where I served and worked for the betterment of all pilgrims including children, women and adults.
